You are John Egbert. You stand on the balcony off of your house, looking up at the sky. You always come here to think. You like the feeling of the wind in your hair, it helps you sort through some shit you'd rather not sort through in the confinement of you room. Today's topic, Dave Strider.
You lean against the railing, looking at the stars. The night was clear, and you could see every constellation. They made you think of your troll friends. It had been about a year since the game ended, and boy did you miss them. But you missed your human friends more. One person in particular, who you thought of as more than a friend, you missed more than anyone would ever know. (Because you sure as hell would never tell anyone.)
You could even remember every little fucking detail about him. The way his blond hair shined in the sun. His dark shades that hid his eyes, which you only caught a glimpse of once. But gosh were his eyes amazing. They were like two red rubies, sparkling on his perfect face. Everything about him was perfect.
You are suddenly jolted out of your thoughts by a light strumming on a guitar coming from below. You look down. The person playing was wearing a hood, a red hood. Could it really be? He started to sing:
Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah, they were all yellow.
It couldn't be, could it?
I came along,
I wrote a song for you,
And all the things you do,
And it was called "Yellow".
The singer looks up at you, and pulls back his hood. A head of shining blond hair emerged.
So then I took my turn,
Oh what a thing to have done,
And it was all "Yellow."
"Dave?" You yell down to the blond below. He smiles. "What are you doing here?" You continue your questioning, although he didn't seem to be interested in answering the questions. "Serenading." He said scaling the tree next to the balcony. He continued:
Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
You know, you know I love you so,
You know I love you so.
You blush at the last line. Was he really singing this to you? Or was there going to be some weird twist where there's someone standing behind you and you haven't realized it yet? After all, you haven't seen Dave in over a year. Although you thought of him every day. Dave leapt over the railing of the balcony and was now stepping closer to you.
I swam across,
I jumped across for you,
Oh what a thing to do.
Cos you were all "Yellow",
You just stand there, awestruck for a while, not quite comprehending what was going on. Dave Strider, the coolest kid in the history of cool kids, and the secret love of his life, was standing on his balcony, singing a love song to him.
I drew a line,
I drew a line for you,
Oh what a thing to do,
And it was all "Yellow."
You finally gather your thoughts and, after pinching your leg a few times, realized that this was actually happening, and it wasn't some weird ass dream. You smile so wide it hurts. He holds out his hand. "Wanna dance?" He asks you. You laugh and wrap your arms around his neck. He places his hands gently on your waist.
Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
And you know,
For you I'd bleed myself dry,
For you I'd bleed myself dry.
He smiles at you. You reach up and pull his shades off gently. He doesn't even make an effort to stop you. You stare into his eyes. Just as you remembered them. Completely and utterly beautiful. He lifts your chin and kisses you. Your eyes flutter shut. He wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you tighter to him. You have never been happier in your entire life.
When he finally pulls away, he whispers "I love you" into your ear. You nod. He hugs you. You rest your head on his shoulder. He sings the rest of the song quietly into your ear.
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine.
Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.

You are John Egbert. Last night was the most amazing night of your life. You wake up the next morning in your bed in Dave's arms. His hair was messy and his glasses sat on the nightstand next to you. It was still taking you some time to fathom what was going on. Even the sloppy makeouts you two had on the balcony last night felt like a dream. But if you are sure of anything, if it was a dream, you never wanted to wake up.

Shennanigans [DaveXJohn]
Dave sighed.
"Dude. We need more warm-weather plants."
"Dave, they wouldn't grow here."
"Can't we put them inside?"
"Are you that homesick?"
"Pffffff." Dave grunted, "Naaah."
"Alright, then we're keeping my plants-"
"Okay, Christ! Just a little Aloe plant or somethin'?"
John sat up; being careful not to let anything but his feet touch the muddy ground.
"I guess so." he shrugged, "But when it dies because our house is cold, I'm not putting up with you asking for another one." John chuckled.
Dave stuck out his tongue and reached out a hand warningly, ready to push John over.
"Hey, no, stop that. I don't want to get wet."

Kiss me again -KarJohn-
"John, this shit is stupid." Karkat complained, sneering at the screen.
The human lazily threw his arm around the grumpy troll. "Shush Karkat! This is my favorite part!"
The troll held his breath, his heart skipping beats at the touch. The human had touched him plenty of times before but there was just something about being close to him that Karkat felt comfort in.
"You say that every five seconds fuckass!"
John ignored him, his eyes fixated on the movie screen where Nic Cage was doing something heroic that Karkat cared nothing about. He swore the derpy kid had a gay crush on the actor but nooooooooooo: he was not a homosexual.

The Light was Fading Again
The light was fading again, his breath was becoming ragged as his vision blurred. His once furiously beating heart now slowing down at an alarmingly calm pace, almost as if it knew that if it kept up the ridiculous pace that it would only bring it to its owner's demise sooner rather than later. His hand shakily rose up to grasp at the hole in his stomach, pressing his palm against the opening in a sad, pathetic attempt to stop the bleeding; but it didn't matter, it was way too late. Warm, wet rivulets trailed down the side of the male's face, his breath hitching in his throat. Great, now he was crying, dying was bad enough. What if he saw him
